Whether pets are permitted depends on the property, the agreement, building rules and applicable law. Consider each application fairly and consistently.

Before agreeing

Consider the type and number of animals, the property layout, neighbours, insurance, hygiene and any owners-association or building restrictions. Obtain any required consent before approval.

Put arrangements in writing

Record the approved pets, care expectations, damage reporting and any lawful cleaning or restoration obligations. A term cannot remove rights or impose obligations that local law does not permit.
